TALK TIPS

Everyone has their own unique style of engaging or contributing to conversations.

We recommend considering Mindframe as a great resource for any discussions or portrayal around Suicide and Mental Illness.

Being mindful of how we speak about suicide is very important, while our conversations are about keeping things real and relatable, we're mindful of graphic or potentially harmful media.

Certain things are discussed in person during conversations, and even if at times someone thinks they want to know more, a sensible evaluation should be made as to what is disclosed at certain times.

We're very passionate about the involvement of media, talking with Mindframe often and evaluating content of our print media.

If at anytime you're worried, scared or unable to cope with what you're reading, stop, take a break. You can come back to it later.

At all times we review guidelines of the National Media Initiative of Mindframe. Our conduct is open for review at all times. Just as importantly, we provide information for pathways of improvement and change. If you have any concerns about ours or other media, please contact the Mindframe Project Team by Phone: 02 4924 6904 or use their online form here
